The Dark Below - страсти накаляются

Продолжается мыльная опера под названием «The Dark Below».

Предыстория такова: недавно, от имени Blizzard Entertainment, в была подана заявка на регистрацию торговой марки The Dark Below. Спустя несколько дней, по косвенным признакам, заявка была признана фейком.

Сегодня обнаружилось, что в Европейское патентное бюро так же подана заявка на регистрацию «The Dark Below» на следующий день после «Reaper of Souls»:

 Однако, заявка находится на этапе рассмотрения, который может занять несколько месяцев. Теоретически, согласно процедуре регистрации OHIM, первый этап подачи заявки подразумевает оплату, но проверка наличия оплаты проходит так же на втором этапе. А первый этап может быть просто подачей заявки по e–mail или факсу.

Некоторых настойчивость заявляющих подтолкнула к мысли о подлинности заявки, но я все равно считаю, что это затянувшаяся шутка, по нескольким причинам:

1. Наличие заявки на этапе рассмотрения ничего не говорит.
2. Смущает скудность описания товаров, на которые регистрируется торговая марка. Для сравнения, можно посмотреть несколько торговых марок Blizzard:

Даже если вообразить, что это не фейк, где же заявка на диски и коллекционку? Т.е. это 100% не аддон к World of Warcraft.

      3.  В Американском Патентном Бюро нет заявки на «The Dark Below» и есть заявка на «Reaper of Souls»
